  1. That function I was talking about, where the camera takes two pictures and makes them into one I used for that image. It takes two pictures at different exposures, because otherwise the rocks would turn out quite dark. Of course because these are long 0.5 sec exposures, that heightens the effect of the fuzziness of the waves.

    The top picture, btw, is a 25 second exposure. I got a couple of these pictures. There was a bunch of seagulls on the rock platform, and they kept flying through my picture. Funny thing is that you can’t see the gulls in any of the images😛

    • Haha. This is all the rage in ocean and shore photography: long exposures. When it’s that dark, you need them, too😛
