Tidbinbilla nature life

First serious science write-up of the Tweetup can be found here.

I couldn’t get over how pretty this country at the back of Canberra is. Here are some photos without telescopes:

Mist over the hills.

Pretty rainbow.

Rocky outcrop.

Local wildlife. There are 26 wallabies on this hill

Skippy!

Some more inquisitive wildlife. Two out of a group of six emus

  1. We’re annual pass holders for Tidbinbilla and also visit the NASA/JPL facility regularly. One of the best parts of the drive is when you see the radio telescopes for the first time in the distance. A very other-worldly experience 🙂
So glad you enjoyed the tweetup!
